HowTo: WVC200 FTP upload interval less than 30min |

This How To describes how to set the FTP upload interval of the Linksys WVC200 wireless PTZ camera to a minimum of 1 minute (compared to the default minimum of 30 minutes).

The Linksys bug is not sitting in the Firmware of the Camera, but in bad design of the setup webpage. The cure is to use the Firebug extension to modify the setup page that it submits the values you want.
Prerequisites: Linksys WVC200 and Firefox Webbrowser
- Install the "Firebug" extension for Firefox from www.getfirebug.com
- Restart Firefox to complete the installation
- In Firefox: Uncheck "Disable Firebug". You find it under Tools / Firebug
- Log in to your Camera and browse to the "FTP Upload" page
- Right Click on the Dropdown menu "Upload interval", "Minutes"
and choose "inspect Element" from the context menu
- Expand the highlighted source in the Firebug window
- Change the two "30"s into the interval you like (minimum 1 minute).
- Watch the changes happen in the setup page. The dropdown menu should show the
modified upload interval
- Choose the upload interval you want from the dropdown menu now and click Apply!
